His wife and friends celebrate and congratulate him generously, carrying him in triumph as a bullfight matador. However, Valorin has escaped from prison, he manages to find the prosecutor's address - and arrives at Maillard's home armed with proof that he is innocent. TV adaptation of Aymé's play from 1952.
